Product Description
The heavy-duty emergency phone is styled like the upper portion of a traditional Bell System payphone, but does not require any coins to be deposited to make a call. It has a strong steel housing designed for use in locations where protection and durability are needed, but a plastic phone would not be strong enough.
It's made of 11 gauge cold rolled steel with a durable powder coated finish. It includes a stainless steel faceplate and high-security locking system which makes it vandal resistant. This phone is capable of withstanding the environment of extremely inhospitable phone locations.
The handset cord is armored to resist cutting and pulling by vandals. It's made to BellCore standards and withstands a minimum 800 pounds pulling test. The bright red handset is hearing aid compatible (HAC) and has an anti-static receiver.
Works with any standard telephone line, VoIP, or when connected as an extension on a phone system. Works with most auto-dialers and call restrictors. Same tamper-resistant locking system as a Bell System payphone. Armored modular hook switch lever. Armored modular keypad with metal buttons and bezel that is water, fire and shock resistant. Highly polished stainless steel faceplate with reinforced instruction card window. Volume control button. Internal ringer can be left on or turned off. Armored cord is 32” long. Requires a backplate, enclosure or pedestal.
