This rugged phone can either auto-dial a phone number when the handset is lifted, or be used as a multi-number auto-dial phone, or be used as a standard manually-dialed phone. The unit can call out with touchtone or pulse dialing, and will not auto-dial on incoming calls. It does NOT have a bell. If you want to receive calls you will need to install a separate bell or other ringing signal.

The phone has a heavy gauge stainless steel panel, a metal touch-one keypad, an armored cable, a heavy duty handset, and an all metal cradle.

It can be easily programmed with its touch-tone pad before installation, or at the installation site. All programming is stored in non-volatile memory.

The phone is designed for flush mounting on a suitable wall or panel, and can be surface-mounted with an optional backbox (see below).
