APPROVED BY COMMISSIONER GORDON.
Heavy-duty traditional desk phone with dial replaced by blank plate, and bell disconnected if you prefer a silent signal or a buzzer or electronic "BatSignal".
Neon light flashes when call comes in. No external power or battery required.
Bright red phone with red color lens centered within chrome ring. Brand-new. Two-year warranty. Assembled in the USA.
Normally used for answer-only, but can make calls if connected to a phone system with memory dialing, or a ring-down circuit.
IMPORTANT: We test these phones on a standard AT&T analog phone line, on Cablevision VoIP phone service, on an industry-standard telephone tester, and on a Panasonic KX-TD1232 hybrid phone system, and they work fine. However, we have had a few reports from people that the lights don't flash.
In every case, when the phones have been returned to us, they worked properly. If your phone does not flash, it is properly due to "low ring voltage." This may be caused by a phone company problem, or you may have too many phones connected.
The phones are designed for and tested to work in a range of "normal" environments, but we can't guarantee that they will work everywhere.
If your light doesn't flash, please call us before returning the phone and we will try to help you.
You may be able to get your phone company to provide more power or you may need the Phone Line Power Booster shown below.
Batman photo from Archive Photos. Thanks.
Our BatPhone was inspired by the Batman character co-created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger that appeared in Detective Comics, DC Comics, on ABC television, and in movies and cartoons. We have no relationship with or sanction from any of them.
